As someone who works in ICU units, the lack of medical supplies, equipments, beds And even staff are for real. On normal days, we're already arguing for ER staff over who we're willing to admit to ICU because we're at capacity. On normal days without pandemics. Luckily I'm just considered auxiliary so I don't make decisions on who gets care or not and I don't envy the doctors who are gonna have to make those life or death decisions if we start getting surges here

I honestly don't envy anyone in the medical field, right now. The thought of all the stress alone is enough to make me anxious.

People who need regular medical treatment because of terminal diseases are in a difficult situation, because the priority now is the pneumonia caused by the coronavirus, and their weaker immune system will make them more vulnerable to it. Also panic.....
