The spreading will probably start to slow down soon in other countries as well. Humans are part of nature and we should be kinder to it, yet we're cruel to it and exploit it. I also strongly think people should try to lean towards a more vegetarian diet tbh rather than continuing this killing and eating of sentient life, a vegetarian diet has been proven to be more suitable for our bodies anyways. I get that meat tastes good but there's so many alternatives these days that taste very similar to meat. Animals carry viruses that can cause pandemics for like this, not only is it cruel to eat meat them but it has it risks.

@Pringle I'm not going to speak against your vegetarian ideals, that's a different subject. Zootonic diseases are not new. The exact origin of coronavirus is still being examined. I doubt bat consumption led to it. Bats are well known carriers of many diseases like rabies, hiv/aids, and flu. Flu is airborne and bat's being in the area is enough to spread it. Zootonic diseases will always be a part of our lives. There is a bright side that the zootonic disease of cowpox was used to make the first vaccine to smallpox which is now an eradicated disease.

Remember to have a trusted person keep watch over you if you try psychedelic mushrooms.

US is now the country with the most infections (I thought it would take another day), with 17 thousand new cases confirmed yesterday. And we are not exactly doing large scale testing yet. Seems like 40% of the nation has lost their minds in panic. 40% are not concerned at all, and think its not a big deal or some sort of hoax, and the last 20% are just wondering WTF is going on, and WTF is wrong with the other 80%.

It's not like people will be collapsing in the streets, it's really that as time goes on, medical systems WILL be overrun. I'm not so much concerned if I contract Corona (Though, I'd absolutely hate if I gave it to my son.), I'm concerned with the fact that medical systems WORLD WIDE aren't as prepared for something like this as most seem to blissfully think.
Let's say you're having a heart attack, but wait, the hospital is beyond max capacity...What do? Welp... Better hope you get seen in time. Simple shit like that. It slows the whole process down and makes things that much more complicated.
Not to mention, there are many, many thousands more infected than we know of, I promise you that. We're hearing of more and more cases simply because more and more people are getting tested. Thing is, lots of people are asymptomatic and that means they won't have any symptoms, but they'll still be contagious.
In the end, this isn't the end of the world, it's just showing how fucked up medical systems are and it will unfortunately kill many more than I believe most truly believe.
