Yes. Brazil is certainly another hot spot. Currently ranked overall 15th in per capita cases and deaths, to the US total 12th and 9th respectively. Both are probably going to climb a few places though at the rate they are both going.

@senpaisamasan Personally I think people who intentionally try to infect with corona virus should be prosecuted for manslaughter. The way our system works, however, would make that very difficult to prove. I think most people who don't wear masks in public are just damn lazy. At least in Atlanta there is a mandate to wear masks in public. I don't really know what the penalty for not wearing one is though, or even if it is actually enforced.

I don't think they are lazy about not wearing masks, they are very intentional about it. But I live just outside the city limits, so shit might be different here. ((and yes I'm stating Atlanta as the only city in GA kekeke))

@averageboss The main problem is that they also currently have fairly hefty containment and lockdown procedures in place while the US let people run amok in the streets for nearly 3 weeks now. Once those measures are lifted in Europe, I suspect that there will be a massive spike in infection once again. Eventually those procedures are going to have to be lifted to make sure that there isn't total economic collapse. I am guessing that things are going to get bad for Europe again, it just hasn't quite happened yet. At this point this is all reactionary and speculative with the US being the guinea pig. I'm gunning for the worst case scenario of total infection of the populace that not a single person or group can stop. I don't see too much evidence for any other scenario.

@arc I see In a lawful system all it takes is a witness or video evidence (which has been shown a lot with all the Karens around) And a testimony. I say, if spitting on someone is assault then so is coughing or sneezing intentionally. It should maybe count as assault for younger people but be tried seriously as attempted manslaughter against the elderly or sick. Idk just my opinion, just wear a mask fuck, people are dying and all you care about are your freedoms. Keep up that attitude and you'll end up with none.

Non mask wearer here, I don't do it cuz I'm a save the earth type and all this mask and plastic is going to kill the planet faster. I'm far from a conservative redneck FREEDOM THIS person. And no you're not going to find me on youtube coughing on someone or whatever "news" is out there I just walk by the people and not talk. I can go to a grocery store for 15 minutes and have zero conversation with someone and not cough or sneeze. That means also ignoring the cashier small talk. Seeing all you "I gotta wear a mask and gloves cuz virus" gloves and masks on the street litter irritate me that I'm going to keep not complying to it.

@inter_change Bruh, that's bad logic. For one the masks already exist. Also, get a nice cloth mask and you can reuse it. You can use winter gloves too. If you or someone else gets sick they have to burn through tons of plastic masks and gloves to treat you or another person. So that's a lot more garbage than using a cloth mask.

@inter_change Way to distance yourself from one extreme group while pushing everyone else who follows a basic principle into the other far group. Good job, fool.
