What is it like being a girl on MO?

Just skimming through this thread and honestly I personally think the general idea about males sending dick pics to harass female users is just appalling, ridiculous, and really quite sad. I myself, came here for friends, since I've been around a few guilds and other communities over the years. I've seen lots of cool artists post in the doodle thread and I made an attempt to make a few friends. Heck, that's the main reason I stay on here for friend, And to see if I can make other friends who like similar stuff as myself or whatever. But like it really bothers me when someone who's just new around here gets scared off by creepy folks behind the shadows with harassment. Maybe not everyone has gone through that type of experience, but I mean this should be a welcoming community for those who likes nerdy stuff and hobbies. And it's not to say that this community isn't welcoming, But I do legit feel bad for those who have gone through situations where a user is creeped out by loads of immature user. I understand that the users doing this are trolls, antisocial, or desperate for attention, since there are lots of creepy folks lurking from what I have heard anyways. Whatever the case... It's inexcusable behavior but I guess there's not much you can do about it at the same time. >_>

being a girl on here isnt bad, if a guy starts being creepy or whatever i tell him to stop and hes pretty respectful about it. i mean i make my intentions clear im just on here to be friends and meet new people but i have alot of good conversations with people. ive met some pretty chill people and what not. decent conversations. the sad part tho females dont really talk to me. its fine im better with primary male friends but i wish the females were more friendly in general.

Most guys have been quite kind and respectful, at least from my experience. There's been a couple of people that were a bit strange or pushy. I'd like to make more girl friends though, I only got like 2 :(

So we have 3 guys here now who have gotten dick pics. Though I imagine that quite a few guys and girls would keep that private, for a few reasons. I wonder how much it happens on both sides all told.

Honestly the guys on here harassing women will mostly not be on public forums and will be in the shadows of the site feeding on dms and such. Ngl I have in the past sent a couple of pics but never without the other person's consent. Never got a bad review yet. UwU lol jk
