It used to be. Some people still use it as such, if you could believe that. That's why we have those people who spam anything with legs and girl parts with unsolicited dick pics. Like Tender!

I was told tender became a booty call site. Two of my female co-workers actually used tender for that precisely. It's actually kind a sad how people uses social type of sites. Mo has those people as well, but at least it's more tame on here. At least publically. I have heard of the thirstiest ghosting and going after the members in private. From both genders.

I think classical dating websites have more active members who from different backgrounds, and people mind more about their own business. However, Maiotaku is the playground for idealists ;) who may care more about personality than other factors.

One of these days, I hope to get MO back to a healthy functioning dating site where people could post threads like this in an earnest attempt to find someone. Alas, all I can do as a mod is... Ban and delete Russian ads and stuff.

It won't be too healthy if people feel like they aren't allowed to voice their own opinions. Even if it isn't a sugary one. If mo does start forcing us to hold our opinions in just cuz it isn't a sweet one then there's no place for people who has that part to themselves.
