Older & Younger Generations

Any thoughts on both older and younger people by your experiences? Which do you have the hardest and easiest times with and which do you spend the most time with whether you want or need to? There is also the Lost Generation (e.g. Great Grandparents), but that cannot be answered by you due to that generation now deceased, but can be spoken by oldest standing generations. https://youtu.be/IfYjGxI6AJ8 EDIT: MY THOUGHTS. Greatest Generation, Silent Generation and especially Baby Boomers are the ones I get stuck with the most, sadly due to growing up in special ed having difficulty socializing with Millennials. Despite being amazing myself, it's not visible enough to catch much of the right attention. Therefore, I was stuck with older ones teaching and caretaking me. Some of the older generations react to younger generations by uselessly adoring to overdoing insulting with incorrect speculation. Generation X has some good and not-so good ones. Generations Z and Alpha show youngsters possibly as wacky as the star of The Fred Show. Some of the youngest are seen riding deep within the grocery part (not the baby seat part) of the shopping cart barefooted holding a mobile device watching something like Peppa Pig, being a whiny Paw Patrol fan, or being obsessed with Disney's Frozen. I'm sure what comes after Generation Alpha will be Generation Beta (perhaps 2026 to perhaps around 2040).

I feel bad for today's younger generation. Most of them have tabs with themselves and prefer to stay indoors. They're missing out on the fun they'd have outside with other kids

I can hang around younger folks just fine, but pretty hesitant to go further with anyone 5 years below me.

older people are more conservative and younger people tend to be more liberal (not politically, i mean socially) not much difference between us we will be them some day, waving our canes about the dangerous of VR and how back in our days we sat at computers to go on the internet

I'm 25 years olds and working with colleges a range of 16-50 years old... interrestingly enuff I find the younger gen is only more active with social media sooo not really the world... but than if you think about it less eye contact conversations but more face to screen convos....

Lately it seems like each succesive generation seems to be in deeper shit than the last Maybe I'm pessimistic, but seems it like capitalism is hitting its endgame and the superpowers are all preoccupied doing shady stuff and have a "fuck you, I gots mine" mentality. If I do have children one day, I have to wonder what kind of world will be left for them. Maybe I'll just go be a hermit in the countryside and raise chickens or something, and watch the world burn

I grew up in the 90's era. Compared to most things that have since advanced nowadays. I feel this current generation is definitely heavily spoiled by technology which I never had. The most I had was an old windows PC back in the day with slow dial up internet connections. Who else besides me remembers that? xD The most I had to do for fun was playing outside with other kids, competing in sports, and of course watching tv, playing video games, reading comic books when I wasn't busy with school work or had game tournaments or practice. This current generation has apps, and the internet. Especially the internet, it's a great tool for many things but can be easily abusable. And it definitely feels like society as a whole is relying on the internet for just about everything. Like everything is online these days. I was happy enough to get a simple nokia phone for the first time when I was in 8th grade. You see all of the younger generation focused on their smartphones getting hooked on social media. I mean there's nothing technically wrong with that at all as long you don't abuse it. You have an opportunity to connect with friends from all over the world. I use social media fairly frequently myself obviously, but you rarely see kids or even younger adults talking face to face. It's not to say it's the same for everyone but it's definitely common among this current generation. I've even seen kids as young as 3 years old using tablets. There was one this time, I kid you not, I saw a little boy was playing with his mom's tablet while they were waiting for the bus, he accidentally dropped it on the ground and his mother literally slapped him resulting in the kid crying. I mean I understand these things are expensive and do cost money, but it was the mother's fault for giving it to him where it could possibly be dropped and receive potential bad damage if not careful.
