On a Journey

Hello, I like anime. It is why I have come to this place. I have a very small group of close friends but none of them are into anime so I am searching far and wide for anime lovers. Does anyone else get that annoying feeling after finishing an anime? That feeling where you think to yourself "OMG I will never find another one as good as this!" And then you spend hours on Youtube(AnimeSensei has the best lists), Google, and MAL trying to find the next anime to watch. It would be so much easier if I just knew some people to discuss anime with so I could learn about other great animes out there. Also, I see people out there going to all of these fun conventions with cosplay and I'm sitting here like "WTF where were all these people when I was in high school?" I'm on a journey to find out where all the anime fans are at.

I can attest to this difficulty. Plus I was never really social, so anime-clubs and what not always repelled me despite my best efforts T.T

Social anxiety is a horrible curse I know all too well. Strangely, I have never really tried forums or chatrooms as a form of social interaction until now. Yup, this world just kind of sucks in a lot of ways, even television sucks. At least we have anime though.

I dont know what CAC is talking about, but I'm very normal.... Than again..... Yeah I agree, we are a little weird. Tee hee hee. Anyways, welcome to the site. Ive done that with checking youtube to seek out anime after finishing a good one. I usually go for akidearests's list as shes an otaku too who loves tentacles. Ive mostly been reading manga though as I have a few good websites i'v found that dont have bugs in their website to infect your device. Anyways, welcome again.
