Anime that lasts a while

My favorite anime is too short.like Kinos journey and samurai champloo. I'm actually not very much into anime and want to get into it again. I'm almost done with a tv show that's going to have a eight season soon.thats the longest I've watched a show.

Oreimo is the second anime I ever watched. Cute and funny. I might watch that again. If I can find it on the Xbox or something.

There are a couple of longer running anime that I am aware of. Most of them tend to be shounen probably because the production can match the rate that new material is being added. One piece is at 783 episodes, hunterxhunter (the newest version), hajime no ippo (personal favorite sports anime) and D gray man (gothic flavored shounen) are all around 100+ episodes. FMA brotherhood and Monster are both around 50. Maybe some others would like to recommend other genera.

I think you gave good suggestions already. People who aren't into anime usually like FMA, Hajime no Ippo, Monster, depending of their preferences. So, those can work. If you liked Oreimo, maybe Toradora. It's also has funny and cute moments.

I'd recommend you to watch " Welcome to the NHK " , this anime has stayed with me for 10+ years... :D Also, if you enjoyed Samurai Champloo, I think you'll like Cowboy Bebop aswell!

If we're talking anime with lots of seasons... Bleach (366) Naruto (720) One Piece (834) All three of those went on and on and on and on, and two are still going on and on with no sign of stopping in site. Also, Fairy Tail had (275)

Not the longest out there but Sgt. Frog...358 episodes. And if I’m right each episode is two mini episodes. Soooo if you think about it...its 716 episodes.

There's not so many shows that have a ton of episodes but One Piece, Naruto, Hajime no Ippo, bleach, fairy tail and JoJo Bizzare Adventure (I think it's called this, i watched it a long time ago but it has many seasons).

Robotech is a long series because it was made up of three different series that sort of got smooshed into a three-generation storyline.
