Origin of your nick

salganha
I'm always curious why some people have certain username. My nick is Sal My real last name is Salgado, that means, in Portuguese, Salty. Some friends started calling me Sal, short of Salgado, that means Salt. :b
kameiya
Kameiya is a nickname a friend gave me in high school and I like it. So It Stuck In My Head.
hell_hound7
A video called "never say no to panda" on youtube
shieksdee
My name's Shi and I use the XD face way more than I should, thus ShiEksdee. XD
sir_loligagger_faded_face
Haha, Salt I think people need you in overwatch so please be with your people!! ^^ My profile name is a twist on the Skyrim guard idle chat. The "faded face" part is just because of my profile pic.
gundamu
If it wasn't painfully obvious already I just mashed together "Otaku" and "Kaiser" for mine. :v But what originally inspired me was mecha anime and it's very common theme of naming mechs with -kaiser. You'd be surprised at how many giant robots have -kaiser slapped onto the name. IE: Mazinkaiser, Exkaiser, etc

Just an old RP name that stuck with me. Used it for most of my stealth based rp characters.
hakutaku
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enki "Enki (/ˈɛŋki/; Sumerian) is the Sumerian god of water, knowledge (gestú), mischief, crafts (gašam), and creation (nudimmud). He was later known as Ea in Akkadian and Babylonian mythology. He was originally patron god of the city of Eridu" I use this name in my workplace and new social media I join because it is easy to pronounce, meanwhile, it doesn't look common + weird... This name may impress fans of world mythology or people from that region...I did come across people who talked to me because of my username. Taoist: I have a Taoist sensei and I'm intrigued by some parts of Taoism<religion+philosophy>..It inspires me. Deva:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deva_(Buddhism) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deva_(Hinduism) By using Deva, I mean I am immortal.... Suddenly, I notice my nickname here involves three civilizations in....Sumerian, Indian, Chinese...
densetsu_no_baka
Way back when in middle school, a friend that knew a little Japanese started calling me "baka" due to my generally silly and easy-going demeanor. I kept the nickname even after learning what it meant, and later added "densetsu no" because just "baka" is almost never available in games/forums/what have you. I went with "densetsu no" because I thought it was funny and likely to make people wonder "why the hell would someone name themselves 'legendary idiot'?!"
