should you bring a present on a first date?

TBH, it doesn't matter if u bring a gift or not, if the person likes u a lot then anything u do or give them would make them happy. If they hated ur guts, then even the most expensive gift can be garbage to them

Doesn't sound like a very good idea. Next time get the present for after you were sure or else it becomes a waste. If a guy gave me a gift on first date I would get nervous and guilty for not getting him one and feel like I owe him. That's just me though.

I always do, normal like flowers or something like that and I also always pay for whatever we are doing, if on the 2nd date she has her mind set on going half I’ll let her but I always pay on the first date.

Depends on the female, sometimes it can get awkward by making her feel owed to you and sometimes it might do wonders. But more than present, what is important is ur first impression on ur first date.. coz that will last for ever.
