Hi there :D My name is Casey and I'm new to the site (obviously). Hoping to meet new friends on here since my work schedule doesn't allow me to get out a whole lot. I spend most of my free time eating ramen, writing, or binge watching anime. I started learning Japanese about a month or so back, and am hoping to become fluent within the next 2 years. I'm always writing or reading something, and I'm starting voice acting lessons in the summer to put together a demo reel. Anyways, I'm always looking for new and interesting experiences and people so drop me a line if you like, I'll be happy to talk about whatever

I didn't know voice acting lessons were a thing, I thought people just "had it in them". Also, hey.

Yeah, they have a 4 week class in my area and at the end they assist you in making a demo reel. I can definitely see why there would be classes, I don't think the subtle intricacies of doing dramatic line readings the way we're used to hearing always comes naturally. It looks like fun and I'm hoping to meet other otaku's there too
