I 100% agree with you. Given, I can see why people are worried about a race war (I work in an environment teeming with reverse racism). But a lot of this are topics that are not relevant to this thread, so I'll abstain from that.
Honestly, I wouldn't freak out too badly over the repeal. The FCC is about to be inundated by a deluge of lawsuits, and just because they passed the repeal doesn't mean it's in effect. You should still keep doing what you can to fight it (namely keep bugging your representatives), but it isn't the end of the internet yet. Also, some states, congressmen and the senators are already starting to move against the repeal.
That said, there are some parts of the repeal I'm kinda neutral about. Namely, ISPs being able to charge fees to companies who's services use a shit load of bandwidth (netflix, youtube, hulu, etc). I'm neutral about it and not in favor because of how huge and profitable ISPs already are. If we had a plethora of smaller competing ISPs that didn't have 9-11 digit profit margins, I'd be much more in favor of it. Sadly, the repeal is nothing but a cash/power grab by already filthy rich companies and people...
@alucard ...you know, I've seen you around quite a bit lately and every time I've decided to ignore you. While I do agree with everything you've said here, I do find annoyance that you've been going around trolling, being a jerk to people solely for the sake of being a jerk, and trying to justify it with "Oh, but I'm a yandere". That's like saying "I totally punched you in the face because I think it's funny, but I'm a yandere". Eventually someone's gonna hit you back and you're NOT gonna like being on the receiving end for a change. Fox is a yandere, and she doesn't run around provoking every single person she sees; she's actually typically pretty nice unless you REALLY push her buttons. Frequently the things you say have little wisdom behind and are solely said just to be a provocative nuisance. Watch what you say to people and how you say it e.e
And trust me Lamby, I know. I've been following this closely for years (since around when SOPA was being pushed). I'm as disgusted with Pai and his cronies as anyone (probably even more than you). Pai is an obvious conflict of interest and I'm equally disgusted at Congress for confirming him (twice) in the first place.
and if you get can republicans and democrats to agree on something, you know that shits serious >w>

even the fcc doesnt want this xD
85% of the american population disapproves of this
it still gets voted in
talk about corporate shills
so when they throttled netflix because they wouldnt pay extra fees (which they didnt have to do) they chose to slow them down
yanderes are always emotional...
Video about net neutrality being a bad thing. If anyone interested.
P.S Don't be afraid of talking cat, it's one smart kitty.
