Do you play as yourself? c:

I haven't played nearly enough games that give enough character customization to the point where it can resemble me. Kinda wish I have done though. If I'm choosing between male or female protagonist, it all depends on what game it is. In games like Pokémon where I'd rather use my actual name, I choose male protagonist. Other games it depends on whatever character I like more (in Megaman ZX for example, I like the female protagonist more, so I choose her).

I usually play as a character from an anime or other video game. Like for fallout I have 2 characters 1 plays and looks close to Revy from black lagoon. The other is an almost exact replica of rei from Eva

I take character customization very seriously, too! =D Usually I make both genders or even a bunch of races and characters before playing with all of them a little and then one sticks out and I stick to them.♡ I actually thought about it and while my man vary in appearance, my female characters always seem to have darker skin, fuller lips and a curvy figure... Whoever I chose - I stare at them in awe every screentime. (I also paparazzi the hell out of them) ....issues....

Hahaha. This is a nice thread! There are not many games out there that lets you customize your character's features. They are more on the Jap Games TT^TT But if I do find them, yes Ill play as myself or a better version of self. And when the game doesnt allow me to customize, I choose characters that best describe my personality.

In single player games with high levels of character customization I lean towards characters based on myself. If it's a multiplayer game I might go for something more in line with how people I usually play with view me as.

I'm gonna remember this thread and then when I have time, post my summoner from Blade and Soul and we can compare her looks to mine lol

Either super moe female character with cute hair color or i go for the deadly chick that can melt ur eyes with a stare. My men i like to be made as giant softies, cute bara men. :D
