Do you play as yourself? c:

sanfi
That's probably also got to do with your female warrior body type, right? =P It depends on which game I'm playing whether I chose to be a guy or a girl. It doesn't matter which sex I play as, cause I always try to recreate famous people or something

When I initially clicked this forum, I did not think it was about appearance. My initial thought was play style and acting in a group. Personally my play style is the glass cannon. How I act in the group is more similiar to a jester, having fun is important, I do my best to progress any goal as #1, but #2 is being silly. (#2 is also pewp xD)

I actually love character creation games for that reason. Generally I'll attempt to make myself, otherwise I'll just make a cute girl, though I suppose it's contextual depending on the type of game I'm playing. I like to think of it as I'm experiencing his/her adventures just like I would in an anime or movie or something. Personally, I think people should just play as whoever they want, don't listen to those who tell you it's weird to play as the opposite gender.

I usually try to create myself in games...which is sort of hard...because i'm genderfluid so I dunno which gender I wanna get stuck with. I usually either end up make a pretty boy or a tomboyish girl lmfao Or i'll just create a character based an anime or other video game (which is easier to do in soul calibur than in other games cus' you can do all kinds of themes) And then I try making an RP(oc) character I have~

I create how I would see myself in that world

I either make an as faithful rendition as possible of myself or I roleplay as a completely made up character, it just depends on the game :D Although I mostly choose the latter because I like to try out a wide variety of different playstyles (my personal favourite being a battlemage archetype in RPGs so I can tank and use cool ass special abilities at the same time - which is PERFECT for me in games like Kingdoms of Amalur, Skyrim or Dark Souls :D). Gender is never an issue for me since I don't mind playing as a guy or a girl o/ But I try to make them as sensible as possible so if I make a silly character, I feel I need to justify it with how that character fits their role if that makes sense, instead of making them silly for the sake of being silly.
