Group Therapy ^^ I've been single for around 5 years now Idk it's all overwhelming

Not to take away from the beautiful people thread, but I think commitment is one of the scariest things in life and yet, one of the most exciting. It's the whole social anxiety thing that gets me, even making friends seems like a daunting task for me. As such, I only have one person whom I consider my friend (Aside from my wife, of course.). For me, it's just hard because I feel so vulnerable when I try to actual make a viable connection and that scares the piss outta me.

I honestly think a lot of us would do fine here if we could just collectively loosen up a bit and talk. I mean, we're obviously not deficient in the looks department, we all understand social anxiety at some level, and we've all got a common interest to use as a jumping-off point.

that is super true for me though, i'm super bad at affection - giving and receiving - and i'll have a liking for someone at first, but then once we date or start seeing each other, it vanishes :/ i'm seeing someone now, and it's like that ughhhh

I'm hideous so no I think I will be that last one on this site trying to use it to actual use what is was suppose to be used for
