MO: Opinion Thread

It's been about a month now since I joined MO and I've been having a pretty good time. I've made one or two close friends and it's been a great place to come back to and unwind. Most people have been pretty great thus far and it's just been a nice place to be. I admit, there have been times where I've just been a little bored from what little this place offers but that's not necessarily a bad thing. A lot of us work with what we have and try to make the best of things. I typically just act like a goofball around the random section threads, maybe once in a while I'll check out something that catches my eye in the other sections. I came here looking for more friends to connect with and maybe find that special someone. Doing okay on the former, not so much on the latter. So far I'm staying because I still have a bit of fun here doing random lols and talking to friends. Overall, I think I'll stick around for a while longer. Still fun.

I've been here since December. It gets kind of boring sometimes. I've made a couple of friends from here. Had one crush when I first got here. I still have a crush now just a different person. The dating aspects of this site are just terrible. I mean it has worked in some cases but I have been getting more headaches from the dating part. The friend part works very well if you don't become a ghost Otaku. I found this site on accident. I was(still am) looking for a peculiar type of woman. Thought this might be one place I can find her. Also a side note, I thought it would be hilarious to join this community. The conversations about anine and Manga are cool too. This site is a great social experiment... if your fun and spontaneous. Like @Panda-Kun said. If you're more reserved or "boring"(not such thing) then you are going to disappear. This site could be great but it need a lot of touching up to make this better.

I have my waifu, but she lives on the other side of the world, so that's that. I'm here almost daily, because of the funny and interesting people that are on here.

I think I joined last year in April or May. I took a break at some point in the summer after only being around for a couple months then when I came back in the Fall, things were better. I don't know if it was a change of people or if all the teenagers were back in school. 8D Anyway, there isn't a whole lot to do. I've been here long enough that even I am becoming jaded and have to use a lot of restraint from going to a newly made thread and saying YEAH THIS HAS BEEN DONE 10X BEFORE. Buuuuuuut... even I don't use the search options to find certain thread topics. Oh well. The people are why I come back. Chances are many of us would not even be friends in RL sadly, but at least anime is always there to bring us together online. ^_^
