Introvert who hates crowded places and does not socialise with people at all, prefering to stay home and play games?
I think that suits me.
I only talk in my workplace because I have to due my position.

In the past I would describe myself as a loner, with a crappy world view. Cynical and moody which made it harder to interact with people and for them to interact with me. Preferring to be alone / not bother to spend time with people. I lost contact with a lot of good friends that I had.
It got to the point where I felt I wasn't going anywhere in my life I felt I had to change. So since then I have been pushing myself out to try and find what I want. I have made friends/lost them tried countless new things. At the start it was daunting but I feel that I have become a lot more confident and social as a result.
When comparing myself now to the past I feel great.

definately, somehow though I wind up with a bunch of 'friends.' People just mistake me for a confident chap when in actuality I'd rather be left alone. My goal is to buy some land and live there with a partner, it will materialize one day

Uhm not to be out of topic but you guys should really know the difference in between 'asocial' and 'antisocial'.
Asocial: Avoiding social interaction; avoiding or averse to the society of others, not sociable; inconsiderate of or hostile to others:
a tendency to asocial behaviour.
Antisocial: antagonistic, hostile, or unfriendly toward others; menacing; threatening:
an antisocial act. Shunning the society of others; not sociable. Hostile to or disruptive of the established social order; marked by or engaging in behavior that violates accepted mores: gangs engaging in vandalism and other antisocial behavior. Antagonistic toward or disrespectful of others; rude.
You're welcome.

Makes sense Maria. I think commonly people misinterpret antisocial with asocial. I know I have.

Huh, by Maria's definitions I am neither. I'm by no means hostile towards others at work. In fact, I chat with them quite often and am friendly to everybody. However, I do not go to any social events outside of work. I have absolutely no interest. Outside from work I usually stay home. Even with my best friend, we rarely hang out and don't even talk that often. I suppose I'm just extremely introverted.
