It's a part of me that I've had to beat back against my entire life. Growing up, I was a wallflower/antisocial guy. I had a small but good group of friends in grade school, but never made much of an effort to branch out. It didn't help the fact I grew up in such a small little town (like 1600 people) there weren't a ton of people to talk with about gaming, anime, etc that I really got into when I was in high school.
When I finally hit college age and moved out, that's when I began to open up more. Being more outgoing and social, but I still have the tendency to just want to sit here and be along with my thoughts and not go out and do things. It's like night and day where I was say even 15 years ago, but I still have to fight that tendency to be a loner almost daily, at least when I have freetime.

I can be antisocial depending on my mood when I don't want to interact with people I isolate myself in my room. unless I need to eat, take showers or if I need take care of priorities. I takes meds and tolerate people. even if I don't enjoy it.

all the time, the only interactions are few awkward conversations at campus and few words at the gym. That is my daily day :(

Most of the time people typically leave me alone, and when they don't, I typically don't know what to say or am busy with something. Also talking is not my forte.

It's not that I'm ANTI, but I just get tired of being social, literally. Yes, I'm an introvert rather than an extrovert.
I'd rather spend my time alone which is what I do. Except for work, where I have to talk to my colleagues to get by.
I AM socially awkward though. Or rather, that's what I have become. I was the total opposite when I was younger.

im an ambivert, i get bursts of social needs and then after i crash and lose all that energy. I recuperate in my den for a while to charge it back up but sometimes it's really slow to get me to socialize again.

I'm pretty much the same way. I start to get really agitated if I don't get to spend time with friends and family for a while, but I always lose steam and need to be by myself for a good long while afterward.
It's odd, because at one point I was really social. I wanted to be around people all the time.
