@beherit I can agree to that, however I will say that there was no 80s rocker that was more important than Bon Jovi. Through him we got a bunch of bands like Cinderella, Ratt and Motley Crue just to name a few. If he gave a band the thumbs up then they were sure to go somewhere.

@dyadka_yar I did hear he helped prop up other bands, namely Skid Row, another Jersey band. Didn't know the same could be said for the others you mentioned. But then again I'm not that into most popular 80s bands.
