Should MO friends say their leaving?

I admit myself that I left for a short time without saying anything but isn't it sad for them to leave and never return? Maybe I'm just being selfish at wanting them to always be around to stay buddies with but idk.I gotta go somewhere so I'll be back later.

It's always good for a person to say that they are leaving, but I guess a reason why most of us don't is because many of us expect to be back at some point in the future.

Even if posting a thread is too much at least tell a few people in private. Leaving people to wonder what happened or worry isn't cool.

Yep I second @verucassault and also people should say when there not going to be on for months at a time or leaving. It is rude and annoying to just leave in middle of a conversion.

I cannot help it myself at times , although communication with a noticeable amount of time where nobody is talking should be expected online especially on a site like this, Whereas with Skype it can be much more faster, However with that said it would be courteous to do so,
