Have not read or watched Black Clover but seeing this image alone has given me how Asta Vibes like lol.

Black Clover gets passed over because of the first season. I admit the show struggled to separate itself from previous shonen tropes in the beginning. Still after the first arc everything that comes later is a fantastic journey! Many of the side characters shine even when their roles are delegated to comedy relief, like Gordon for example. He's got more weight in the story than meets the eye.
