My sister bought these tea glasses for my mother for Christmas. The part that struck me as interesting was how both cups have contrasting color schemes between the red butterfly and blue. I didn't ask her if it was coincidence that she chose the design because of her neck tattoo of a red butterfly. Though the gift was given to my mother I felt it was metaphorically aimed at myself as the blue butterfly reminds me of the Velvet Room in Persona which I enjoy. Obviously that's me reaching to make connections, but the space between dreams and reality are often fickle these days, haha!
