Is cheating acceptable?

IT isn't no matter what reason. I have a friend who is bi and even if she is dating a man she will sleep with a woman. She is open to it. She thinks sleeping with the same gender while dating the opposite is not cheating. I didn't argue cuz it's her thoughts and not my relationships but I definitely don't agree on that ideal. Cheating is cheating. No matter what gender you do it with cuz it means you are giving your body and maybe love to somebody else other than the one you are dating. Obviously every bf broke up with her when she did that.

That's a very selfish line of thinking in a relationship. "Its not another guy!", if you want to be poly, you should be up front about it.

I know someone who is bi as well, and she is in an "open relationship" where she can sleep with anyone, but still be "loyal" to only her gf. Like that makes no sense to me.

*cough* she did invite him to a three some. The men she dated wanted loyalty which I understood so once they knew her thoughts on it they broke it off. I don't get that frame of mind.

Some people want the security of a relationship while also wanting the fun of sleeping around. Hence how cheating was born. Kame's friend probably just doesn't like being alone, so she jumps from relationship to relationship while fucking around with girls. I'm all for people who both agree to an open relationship, I would never do it, because I'm a possessive beast, But other people I get it. It doesn't matter to them. However hiding it, not talking about it, or lying about it, Means they are untrustworthy, and not dating material for anyone with a lick of self respect.

I don't agree to open relationships. If a guy wants that from me than it stops there by me breaking it off. If somebody feels like they need to date others while keeping you than the relationship has already ended cuz it means they are desiring another and are unsure about you. To me that is still cheating. Just a form of cheating both parties are aware of.
