I can't stand those people. It's not even good marketing to slide into dms begging for comms. I usually yell at them a little then teach them how good marketing actually works. I'm a comms artist myself, so I took it upon myself to learn some stuff from YouTube and random marketing blogs. I've never commissioned people like this so I can't comment on if they're any good. Definitely don't hesitate to block them, and report them if you feel like they are scammers or Ai slop users.

Occasionally ive been getting nonstop friend requests from a bunch of people who are alleged "artists". They will add you on discord talk to you for a bit then ask about an OC and if you would like it commisioned. Has anyone actually bought a commission from one of these bystanders and if you did was it real or just ai slop? On another note can we start banning these people? They are obviously scammers and catfishers

Campari @mishi00 Yeah ive been doing that everytime its pretty sad honestly how many have been popping up, im always excited to meet new people so I get a drop of disappointment whenever I know its one of them

yuuzora @yuuzora Yeah, I can understand the feeling. It's either bots, scammers, both or people who have no clue what the fuck they want. It's why I have a rule of not accepting requests from someone who hasn't introduced themselves in the slightest or if they don't regularly interact with any of my peeps, moots, or other. Luckily there are genuine people on here, even if they're hard to find. I hope they're worth the time it takes to sift through all the aforementioned iijits.

Ah interesting. I meet many people who don't like tea, largely because they've only had that cheap cut grass called Lipton. lol. I know many people dealing with bpd, it is a lot of work to manage it. Do you feel like you're managing it well currently?

The JPLT is good if you plan to live or work in Japan to put on resumes and stuff. But as far as irl speaking, I hear it isn't as great because spoken Japanese is far more casual and often uses plenty of technically incorrect grammar and pronunciation. What sources did you use to improve your grammar? I've been trying to find something where I can practice sentence building but most things are insufficient or I don't have a lot of time to use them. :(

How cruel of you XD, but I choose to hug you since I've missed you dearly. ❤️ @yuuzora I hope you stay safe out there, cause I know things have been hard enough for you lately already, however, I'm happy that you are still alive and kicking. I hope those kitties are doing well too! You all deserve nice things. As for me and the family, we've been staying safe in this heat, but there's still not much food in our house most days – but we aren't worried cause the LORD'S been providing as always. @willworkforisekai You don't need me to teach you the ways of chasing away bots, I've seen @gabriel_true and @sakurakiss have been keeping up my business well. @all my lovelies I miss you guys so much and pray for everyone everyday! Just know you are never forgotten though my physical is absent from you. Hm. I see. Even just messaging a person back and forth is good, since I don't think I can hold complex conversations. I focused too much on service vocab(y'know, like ordering food, checking into a hotel, etc.) and didn't spend any time talking about more complex things. Are you good with kanji? I've only got about 100-200 learned so far.

I see. Usually I only read and listen to it, but that's already plenty helpful. Besides acquiring vocabulary by reading stuff you like, the brain eventually connects the dots of grammar and natural ways of expression start to become possible with low effort. Though once you reach that level it's probably necessary to jump into real time conversation in order to keep growing.
