I'll be honest. I am a bit of a utilitarian in my world view. I see the practical use of AI and have seen legitimately good and creative use of it. The main issue I am seeing is purely economic. We are seeing how much water and land just the data centers to run the software consumes. Farmland being eaten up and a town's worth of water being consumed for cooling. The cost of electricity and computer parts is sky rocketing because of the resource and financial burden of these data centers. All of that is being exponentially passed onto the business and consumers. Thess CEOs are greedy, but I work in finance and am seeing a lot of them hemoraging money. They git too greedy and now it is biting some of them in the butt. I look at that and have to question if this technology is just plain unsustainable or at least is gonna have an economic cap of how wide spread or advanced it can get. Kinda the same thing as why we aren't sending more rockets to the Moon or Mars even though technically we have the science for it. The cost is just too darn high!

I personally dislike AI being used. I think instead of making things "easier" for them (which usually isn't the case with these certain things truly, it's their workplace overworking them so they don't have proper time to animate), they should actually just treat their workers like actual human beings so they have the proper time to draw/animate their stuff. But, as most big businesses are very greedy...I don't think that'll happen anytime soon or very easily.

Because from A LOT of videos I've seen/heard my own sister watching, lots of people (it's the majority of them) actually don't like AI being used, because of the fact that it's not a actual human doing it. I think most people also hate AI being used for advertising/media/marketing– like, I think there are lots of people that think like you do and wouldn't mind it if people used it for fun/hobbies and simple things, but people don't do that and as usual, take things too far. They end up using AI for actual media or ads and then the companies using AI try to lie about it cause they know most people ain't rockin' with it, while trying to convince the consumers that an actual person did ALL of the work and it wasn't a machine. And, I know that there has to be a real person that goes behind the AI to fix/correct any mistakes, but it doesn't hit the same as seeing a real person take time on a project or be used in an ad.

Spicy Mommy ® @wei_ying To be honest...I think they are trying to get people used to not seeing real people, not gonna lie. They want people to get used to staying at home and not actually forming genuine bonds with the people around them (which IS true as there's been a mini-crisis of plenty people realizing these companies/government are pushing too much digital media lately), so they can continue to set people up for failure/continuing to be greedy.

(7:04 PM Sat.) I'm crying over a heart that was given to me today. I haven't been doing my best internally lately...I keep doubting myself about certain things happening in my life recently and, in all honesty, just being a huge jerk to me. It's something I have been really fighting against and yesterday I just went to sleep early (for me anyway) and silently cried myself to sleep (I didn't want my sisters to hear me). Before I drifted off, I remember asking God to truly just help me with myself, because I know I am my own biggest enemy most days tbh...and I even told Him that sometimes I feel like I don't hear Him anymore or He's not listening to me (which I know isn't true, but I felt honesty with God is better since He knows it all). Today, after our mom came home from grocery shopping with our baby brother, she rushed downstairs and burst into the closet I was sitting in (cause it's cold over here recently), excitement on her face as she cups something in her hands. She tells me that she almost forgot to give this to me, but she found it after exiting the store she went to (which is truly surprising as our mom hates picking up random items from the ground outside) and really felt like I needed this item. My mom un-cups her hands and within them is a bedazzled heart (I really love hearts/heart-shaped things). It's kind of dented in one corner and is missing exactly three sparkles, to which mom apologized for giving me someone else's junk, but...she truly doesn't know how much I love it and needed it. God immediately spoke to me after my mom shut the door...He said that He always hears me and loves me. That just in the way that my mom looked at that dirty, slightly worn and busted heart on the ground but still saw the value in it, that He still sees value in me no matter how battered and weary I may feel at the moment. So, yeah, I am forever treasuring this little heart I've been gifted forever. ❤️
