I just had a conversation with a friend about that regarding aliens. Here is my theory.
What if WE are actually currently the most advanced in the galaxy and beyond? Other potential intelligent aliens could be currently in their cavemen times or otherwise still not to things like machines or computers yet. Our current methods for seeking them out mostly looks for signs of intelligence or technology equal to or greater. How would we detect space cave men?

Noted. I do have several thrift shops around that sometimes have these TVs and may pick one up later. I'll check for that model.

If you grab the Sony WEGA KV-34 you can get 1080i off of the thing and the 360 honestly looks far better on that than almost any other TV I have had. Used to have one until someone spilled a drink on it and blew 7/9ths of the components.
Dyadka Yar @dyadka_yar Just be sure to bring a friend or two. That particular tv weighs over 200lbs.
