Gambling addict. @joemama711 So far it's really bad struggle to sleep, constant migraine, medicine not helping much n I haven't eaten much in a day n half. Been hydrated with water n electrolytes, I'm considering getting delivery now

Floral Mommy ® @wei_ying That sounds really bad. Are you using regular cold medicine I guess? I'm glad that you are able to at least drink so you can stay hydrated, and try not to eat too much greasy food/oily if you order (but I guess as long as you manage to eat, that's a win). Have you tried herbal teas? They make some specifically for when you are sick. Not saying tea will help, but since you are able to drink liquids, maybe it's worth a try.

Gambling addict. @joemama711 It was pretty harsh, I was using severe flu medicine, I did eat and it kinda helped the headache pressure go away thankfully. I'm drinking some tea currently before getting some medicine and feeling better to drive n do some stuff today

Floral Mommy ® @wei_ying Make sure to stay safe on the road, Joe. I hope that you start to feel better today and don't get more sick, especially if your said stuff has to do with outdoors (idk if you have snow down there yet/how cold it is), but if it's cold, I hope you are staying bundled up and as warm as can be. ❤️

Gambling addict. @joemama711 Thank you, I am definitely doing better and got my stuff done. They say theirs gonna be snow and sleet tommorow so we will see but no work until Monday I believe.

Floral Mommy ® @wei_ying I'm glad to know that you stayed safe getting things done and that you are starting to feel well too ^^. I hope you are fully better by Monday, and even if not, that you stay warm during work–also, that your contract thing goes well too. Bundle up! Cover your face with a scarf while at it too when going out.

Getting paid $60 an hour not to drive, but instead babysit a bunch of trailers on New Year's so no one steals them while everyone else is off on holiday isn't so bad.

It does suck to hear about break ups and other crappy things happening but it ain't our responsibility for other peoples happiness or mental state. I'll listen once and try to offer help n suggestions but after that I'm either cutting them off or I'm gonna start charging them therapist rates. No one needs to be dragged down without equal compensation.

I felt this post on a personal level. I have a bad tendency to let my bleeding heart get the better of me. Had some people I know online as just loosely casual chat friends. But then one has been in a bad depressive state due to a breakup. But then now for almost a year, it's been as you describe. Sending messages first thing in the morning almost sounding like a bot with short messages of woe is me. Shooting down any encouragement, attempts to help, mentions of my own similar lived experiences to offer them perspective and suggestions how to handle their situation. Then come back to start this line of communication all over again a few days later while I am at work. Mental health during times of hardship is a challenge and I am totally sympathetic, but even a bleeding heart like me has limits.
