I think both are have an equal standing in the world of anime, but I just suck at watching subs because I can never read the subtitles fast enough. I'm a very slow reader, but regardless I still think both are great in the world of anime.

Nah, it's just gonna get to work taking the first good photos. Not like that blurry shit Hubble keeps sending our way. I can barely wait to see what kind of surprises are transmitted back.

Also if you are there, keep in mind that a LOT of Japanese people who may hate Americans will pretend that they don't, to be modest... So it's good to be wary about how you act around them even if they act like they're happy. Passive Aggressiveness is like normal behavior there, sadly. Good intentions, but hurtful results. I generally found Okinawan people more accepting of both Asian and non-Asian foreigners. I think Okinawans are more accepting of Chinese because the traditional culture is more related to China than mainland Japanese culture is to China, or maybe because they both are somewhat a minority/historically oppressed compared to mainland Japan. Or they're just used to having lots of Chinese/Taiwanese tourists. I think that's probably also the case with Americans, because a lot of Americans visit or even live in Okinawa(mostly from air base, which is how my dad met my mom). I think it can also be from how much more multi-cultural and open-minded Okinawa in general is. Like there is cuisine inspired from China, Korea, and American too. Taco rice is popular and popularized by the American military personnel and tourists. It's just not as patriotic to the whole "We are Japan #1" as mainland, and most of us consider Okinawa like its' own country sort of(it used to be...).

There's nothing childish about liking anime and disliking casinos. I hate casinos, alcohol, smoking, drugs, all of that. Really what maturity is(for me), is how you can handle situations, be responsible for your own actions, and become open-minded.

Anyone around the Costa Mesa OC area? Just hangout and stuff. There is a cool Japanese Market/food court by my house we could eat at. The more the merrier for sure.

as the title say's! it would be really fun just to sit and watch anime with someone and cuddle! what anime? well that you can decide! im fine with all anime i have a love for every anime i have ever watched!
