I suggest looking up things like vanishing points and 3-d sketching. For the hair, that's probably where I can relate most. I just do a simple style, since I can't do any fancy stuff. If you think you'd enjoy a more detailed hair drawing style, I suggest tracing or hand copying existing artworks as practice until you get the knack for it. Today my Landlord told me that two doors down got Bedbugs and in an attempt to eradicate them; they'll be heating the entire apartment and i'll probably go crash at my parents for the next 48 hours; starting tomorrow morning.
