Technology nowadays :-/

Have you ever felt like we should be a lot further in our technology then we are right now? Lol When I was around five, I was expecting flying cars being a normal thing or something by 2010, but nothings really changing besides maybe cell phones lol. Even in the military, why dont we have things like the suits from the game halo? Or even gaint mechs for that matter? Why does technology suck so much!!!!???? LOL

Well actually we have advanced allot since the 90's even since 2005. We have houses that can be controlled fromsmall pads like in star trek or Star wars. Our cars have less toxic emissions, some actually transition into sea based vehicles. I know you expected Starcraft Droids and awesome ghost invisibility (WHAT I WOULD DO FOR PSI!!!!!!!) Still some of the things we are asking for are double blades swords, Flying cars, that would take an substantial amount of energy, and if we did manage to obtain it odds are it would be so unstable, a flying car crash could be the same things as a tact nuke. (CoD WOOOH) Well thats my small piece on it, sorry if i was a total kill joy. At least we got Touchscreen Tv's

I understand where your coming from and dont worry, you wasn't a ill joy lol. I was just saying that instead of focusing on the other random useless stuff that the government funds, they could look into the containment of plasma. If they were to do that, we would have a unlimited energy supply. We would most likely have to use less gasoline and stop polluting the planet so much too :D

I've also heard in Japan that they have a lot of technological advances there since they don't have to fund military projects and such.

Yeah, one thing america does do that allot of people don't notice is fight other countries fights, thats why allot of countries don't have to fund their military as much. One thing i want that they have is the mini comp, just think Ghost in the shell plus Ipad.

Cost like 700 thousand. They actually came out around 2000. These were really small and sucked the new ones are more like aviator glasses.
