It still reminds me of Dark Souls mixed with with an older PS2 game called Baroque. In all three games, you die a lot and the "soul" you lose will haunt you in different ways... which usually means you gotta fight youself or it wrecks face with, well, your face.

I was reading about this anime, on myanimelist. It had basically all negative reviews. So, anyone see this one? Let me know, please. I like to know other reviews.

The anime awards kinda remind me of the 2015 Game of the year situation with Undertale. So many people who normally wouldn't vote or be active suddenly come out of no where, spam their favorite, and then just go away. As a former hardcore yaoi fan-girl, I can say there are MANY better Yaoi animes out there that have more interesting stories, better kiss scenes and even better quality than Yuri on Ice!!.. But there were quite a few anime they didn't even consider from 2016 that had better scenes than yuri on ice and some of these competitors did. And most of the fan base behind Yuri on ice is based on the fact that they are gay for each other... Not for the writing, not for much else. The intro animation was good even for a rotoscope animation, but you can tell that the same effort wasn't placed in the actual competition skating animations as the heads half the times looks like they were superimposed on the body. But when you are a fangirl for something like a lot of Yuri on Ice fans are, you'll act like the shows have no flaws or issues whatsoever, and that anyone who say else wise is a hater or being a dick.
