I'm just memeing lmao. If I had to pick I'd be rping a cultist. If I was rping Cthulhu I'd be sleeping a lot more lol. I'm under the impression that if you're going to post a confession online it should be something illegal or unethical. Otherwise, it's just stuff you'd whine about any day of the week without repercussion. ~~Cthulhu fhtagn!~~

If that's the impression you're under you might want to look up the definition of the words confess and confession because you seem to misunderstand what they mean

@Animekid O bb, here we go... con·fes·sion /kənˈfeSHən/ noun noun: confession; plural noun: confessions; noun: confession of faith; plural noun: confessions of faith 1. a formal statement admitting that one is guilty of a crime. Damn, yeah, I clearly misunderstood what a confession is when I said it's a crime. "But wait, David," you might say, "that clearly states 'a formal statement' and this is anything but that." Okay, fair point, but that doesn't diminish the fact that this definition of confession requires admitting something interesting, i.e. a crime. Being pathetic, unlovable, sad, disappointed, etc. isn't a crime, it's unfortunate. - an admission or acknowledgment that one has done something that one is ashamed or embarrassed about. Oh, look, here's another definition of confession! It doesn't say anything about it being formal, so that's nice. But, oh no, look at that: "one has done something". So, since I guess I have to spell this out for you, being pathetic, unlovable, sad, disappointed, etc. isn't doing something, it's an emotion that you're experiencing. - a formal admission of one's sins with repentance and desire of absolution, especially privately to a priest as a religious duty. Oh my Cthulhu! ANOTHER definition of confession! I can literally just copy and paste my first thing here, replacing crime with unethical. The problem is you can start circlejerking about what "sins" are and what "unethical" means and yada yada yoo. That's not the point. No, the point is we have so far established a confession to be, AT THE VERY LEAST, the act of DOING something one is ashamed or embarrassed about, and the most common things that people are ashamed and embarrassed about? Crimes and unethical behavior. - (HUMOROUS) intimate revelations about a person's private life or occupation, especially as presented in a sensationalized form in a book, newspaper, or movie. Damn, so many definitions, so easy to misunderstand them. This is the last one I'm going to talk about. Both because I think it's most likely the definition you're clinging to, and because after this Google just goes more into shit about churches lmao. This one absolutely gives you the most interpretative leeway. After all, I think it's accepted that "intimate" and "private life" are more and more subjective in this day and age of smartphones and social media. "Revelations" are still pretty simple though. They're secrets that are fucking surprising. Guess what isn't secretive or surprising? That people feel like shit and are sad in 2019 lmao. That people are sexual, that people are loners, that people consider themselves superior because their brain has to force them to feel that way or they'd kill themselves, that people don't trust one another. None of that is a revelation, especially not on this website. Just to make it clear, I'm not dissing people for feeling that way, God knows I feel that way, I'm disappointed by the fact they consider them confessions lmao. I was hoping this was going to be a legit forum for revealing shit that not fucking everyone and their mother already knows about you. It's not. And I'll eventually get over it. But for now, it's disappointing that we're just memeing and posting r/ihavesex material instead of giving me that juicy af drama. So, just to reiterate: I don't fucking misunderstand what a confession is, sweetheart. I place higher value on the criminal, unethical, and, you know, actually doing things in life part of confessions than what you and yours do. Thanks tho ~~Cthulhu fhtagn!~~
