Or.... you can have completely absurd stories like my friends and I do. Like Gabe said, it's pretty much up to the Dungeon Master to build the story. Whether it be a classic tale of swords and souls... Or... It can be a stupid quest where you fight pasta monsters, who regretti eating too much spaghetti. I killed the final boss (an evil Italian guy) with just my abs. Or it can be super epic story. Although what's more epic than death by abs?

I want to play DND but I don't have the time. Our friends group is more MTG centric but I think DND could perhaps maybe keep us more civil with one another. There was an episode at the last MTG game.

It can be fun. I love deck building. I love shenanigans rather than playing to win. I got a goose buffed up to 70+ attack pts with a hydra’s growth then threw the game for myself to play a spell that completely reset the game. The look on people’s faces lol….
