I was about to be on a relationship with an "ugly" girl back in December, I really liked her but she was really shy and had no self confidence, plus other minor things that I don't like So yeah I don't like to separate attraction into different types, i'm just attracted to the person or not oh and, I wouldn't like to have ugly children, self steem problems are horrible (been there done that)

I don't believe love solely relies on looks, but it definitely helps it start things greatly. Same as with tornadomushroom. I wasn't always the weight I am today, so I can tell the difference in how people treat you from both situations. Appearance(physical and first impressions), at least in the beginning, is definitely a factor. I agree with tornadomushroom in the getting back as much effort as you put in. It's not all based on looks either, but it plays a big part too, you know? As for the "Looks go away, but the person's personality doesn't" is faulty too. People change both on the inside an outside. Yeha people age and they're not going to look the same, but their personality is also going to change significantly in 50 years too. If the person I loved got into a car accident and had burns, then I'd still love him the same because by then I would have already fallen in love with him (both appearances, personality, flaws, etc. ) True on that you can't stick your dick into a personality, but it's what can make a guy turned on with you as well. There's some not-so-hot looking people out there that are really attractive because of their personality and it just draws you in.

I agree completely with Haruu, and I also know the difference because I used to be overweight. Not obese, but overweight nonetheless.

Well what about those Muslim girls who have to cover every part of their body but their eyes? How do all the guys in the middle east find that attractive?

Right but is it the kind where the parents arrange it completely or is it the kind where the guy picks the girl he likes and buys her?
