I am a recluse in real life. I am trying to be more active here. Some people are just friendly here which is great but I'm not going to make any real moves unless provoked.

I've been able to chat, call, text, and meet up for someone local in my area. However it's a 80+ miles round trip drive because I live in the polar opposite side of the city from them. So about 2hr round trip for me. 4hrs if I have to pick up and drop off. So it's semi-long distance. <P> So far it's more of a FWB relationship because there are some conflicts that need to be worked out for a real stable relationship. I like to be optimistic about it... just live seems to throw me the same kinda curve balls. I'm just grateful I've made a nice buddy. So far an actual relationship no. <P> What is a downer is finding otaku-tachi near my age.

I've chatted with a few people, but age and distance have really given me no realistic opportunities outside of some new online friends.
