What do you do between conventions?

samuraishinigami
I love attending anime conventions whenever they come up around me but there are only 2 that are a driveable distance away. Twice a year just isn't enough and I'm not the most social person in the world even though I would really like to be. What do people do when there isn't a convention going on? I've heard about a club nearby where people that frequent conventions like to hang out. Is there anywhere else people like to hang out? Just in general, maybe there will be a similar place in my area.

IMO, otakus probebly go to those clubs, but mostly stay with the online communities of their choice.

Work and school. My life is boring without the cons. Hence right after a con ends, I generally go to a post-con depression party. Helps me settle down and get the patience for the next con.

I work full time and go to school on side. I also do my Photography Gig too, its mostly personal hobby I but I try to do Modeling Shots, Nature, City style, etc. I like to hangout with friends and go tot he bar/clubs to party too. OR just game all night lol.

Curl up into a ball shunning the normal life. (Honestly I don't, Only been to one con, but been thinking about the next cons! But just live each day normally but occasionally think about the cons, look up the guests, find others going, talk about it, etc.
