weight loss

animecountryboy
So, got on the scale this morning(been losing weight since last school year.) And I was 175.3! I had to triple check, but it was accurate. I was almost 270 end of last school year. That is over 90 pounds! still aiming to lose another 10, but still. That also means I am under the maximum for my hight that I need to be for the army(I was not worried about it, but I am still really happy). I am so glad that I have done it on my own and have had so many obstacles around me, but smashed through each on of them. Who else has a sucsess story? Anyone working on lossing weight? I was just so proud I lost 90 fricken pounds! Don't let anyone put you down, don't ever doubt youself, because you can do it! I know I have. Went from pretending to be sick so I didn't have to go to school out of fear, to being their everyday 30 minutes early, talking with an army recruiter.

Wow!!! That IS amazing. I always try but I never succeed I always get too lazy. But I only gain 2 or 3 pounds in the end. I always seem to have somehow magically lose the weight I put on :D so I DO have a success story. My secret is I STARVE MYSELF FOR MONEY :D

That is freaking awsome. I know how you feel, man. When I was in high school, I was at around 270 and felt like crap. I worked construction for two years and got down to 185 of pure, slim muscle. I felt fantastic, lightest and strongest I'd ever been. Unfortunately I'm back up to 240, but I'm trying to get back to how I felt before. Nicely done.

Nice! I'm proud of you! It's really refreshing to see someone strive to improve themselves, instead of kicking up their feet on the desk and going "Muh fat privilege. Accept me for who I am." I lost 40lbs myself (180lb to 140lb, but that was all burned fat), and I'd like to ask what your diet is like? Cutting soda out of your diet and replacing it with water/juice can lead to nice losses, which is the main thing I did.

Cutting sweats, chips, soda, fatty foods, fast foods and a few other thing. Eat/drink veggies, fruits, meats, skim milk, light yogert, seltzer, water and whole grains.

Hooooleeeeey CRAP, dude! Nice job! That's a hard 'window' to hit (if you weighed 400 lbs. and lost 100, people are still like, "great, but..."; but to go from 270 to 175...geezish...THAT enables envy). Way to grab the bull by the horns and take control of your own destiny (that type of mental toughness comes in handy)! "...don't ever doubt yourself" -Phoenix You're getting to the core of my tag, my friend. That's what it's all about.

It's amazing how many stories there are like this. I found out two of my coworkers went through a similar weight loss episode as well. I used to be 282 back in March 2010. I told myself I'd be in decent shape for college so I could sit in class and not feel like I was "the fat kid" in the whole class' eyes. So I ran a mile a day, did exercises, cut back on food and counted calories (I didn't even allow myself ketchup >.<). By September 2010, I was 170 *applause*. I'm back to ~180, so I'm trying to burn ~10 pounds for my next con and maybe get some abbs (curse you Ryouta Sakamoto, NEETs shouldn't have such abb-age). Congrats Phoenix and everyone else. These tales surely are telling of the strength of the human will. And good luck to all who are striving to lose weight.

I was 200 this past august, I am now 140. I cut carbs, lowered my caloric intake to 500 below my bmr so id have a deficit everyday and exercised everyday.
