NIGHTMARES discuss your nightmares heres (nonrelated to my username)

I have this reoccurring dream where im walking in the city with my ma and someone steals her purse so i run after them and pound them into the ground until their face is no longer a face and they are well past dead, often wake up out of breath.... idk does that qualify as a nightmare?

When i was young i used to repeatedly dream about getting twisted and compressed into a can :( It was the worst feeling ever!

I've had several nightmares that stand out, but one thing has reoccurred in random dreams thats always freaked me out. My top teeth would shift, with the back wisdoms pushing towards where my front would be, and the front teeth leading a jam up down the middle of my mouth rooftop. The end result being a sort of curved 'V' shape.

The only nightmare i remember from my childhood was, me and my family were on a boat in the water, and it ended up crashing. I kept trying to swim closer to them but the faster i went the farther i got away from them. At one point i was struggling to try to breath but at the same time i somehow knew i wasnt drowning. Sharks started to come and i watched as my family was being eaten I dont actually remember the sight but i remember the despair. The only thought i had after was why didnt i get eaten too. I havent thought about it in years actually i dont know why i suddenly thought of it. Guess it was cause i saw this forum.

1st nightmare of the day, Age: 8-10 when I had it. The first one I could think of was a dream where my family and I were hanging out at the side of our Church we went to at the time. It was a cloudy, colorless day outside in my dream and we were playing outside of the fence that held the church playgrounds, probably playing tag or something? In the dream I had the urge to look up at the sky after noticing a pyramid shaped shadow was being cast near me as I was playing with my siblings, it turned out the "sun" in the dream poked through some clouds but it was in the shape of the all-seeing eye. I immediately felt dread when looking up and seeing it staring down at us, but before I could say anything to my family, our mom and dad screamed at us to get inside of the playgrounds gate. My eyes widen as I whip my head to see what my family is running away from, and there is a man on a horse that can only be described as looking like death himself riding towards me with either a sword or large battle-axe in his hand. My family was already inside the gate. I started running for them when I realized I hadn't even moved yet. All I could see was blood red eyes poking out of deaths helmet, his horse itself had bloody eyes and the blackest coat I've ever seen on a horse, the two determined to kill me as he shouts my full name with all the hate and spite I've ever heard from someone: "Rose! Rose!" (My middle name). I remember not looking back as I didn't want to see how close he was to me, but I could hear him right behind me, I could hear every aggressive puff of air from his horse as it sped up to trample me under its hooves. All I decided to do was keep my eyes on the open gate my family was in and focus on their screams for me to run faster, I remember looking at my twin's extended hand in the dream as she reached out for me, and I leapt. I remember my sister tugging me into the gate and our parents closing it, the horseman wasn't able to get through the gate for some reason. I remember him telling me that I'd pay for murdering his wife and daughter. At some point in the dream I found out I had a past life and was involved in a war with the horseman, we were from opposite kingdoms and in the battle I murdered his wife and daughter. Funnily enough though, his daughters first name was Rose and she looked exactly as I did, which is why he ended up not murdering me, he remembered what his daughter looked like and realized I resembled her exactly and had mercy on me. I can't remember what else happened in the dream, but I think his tormented, vengeful soul ended up being laid to rest as he took me looking like his daughter as a chance to say goodbye this time. Maybe the dream doesn't sound as scary out loud? But the feelings in the dream were horrifying XD.

It's been a while since my last nightmare. Generally I've been noticing I dream much less than I used to when I was younger. But they still happen on occasion. Anyway, the last nightmare I recall was more weird than scary. I dreamt I was was falling into Wonderland from Alice in Wonderland. After being lost in a dark forest, the Cheshire cat appears. For some only God knows reason, he was being really creepy with me...like really liking me if you get what I mean. I run through the forest, but his disembodied floating smile follows me saying stuff like Pretty Boy. So yeah. A nightmare of the Cheshire Cat wanting to get with me as I'm lost in the forest. I woke up just thinking to myself..."I gotta put more blocks and filters on furry content." XD
