Scary Anime

Do you have an anime that scared you? A lot of the horror anime out there really isn't all that horrific, I'd put it under supernatural or urban fantasy. But some have a definite creep factor, the kinda stories that just chill your bones. For me, I'd have to say the creepiest anime I've seen is Ghost Hunt. Now, I know there are others that focus entirely on scaring the viewer, but that's part of the appeal of Ghost Hunt: They get subtle about it. The two story arcs that really hit me were Bloodstained Labyrinth and Doll House. Although the latter mostly because I already thought dolls were freakin' creepy, and I know how they're used in various occult methods.

Oh While I do not think any have scared me... Some have creeped me Out.. The OVA Short Kakurenbo was really creepy, Higurashi definite creepout factor. Elfen Lied got some out there moments. Perfect blue (Movie) That was some messed up crud there. Red Garden has a few WTH just Happened spots. Deadman Wonderland has some fairly messed up plot twist. Loved Witchblade but that also is so very messed up =/ Again more creep factor or disturbing then scarey... I am sure Alot more I have watched if I thought harder but there is a few.

I'm also agreeing with walllace on another. There's this other one that's not necessarily an anime yet but there's this OVA coming out called "Corpse Party" which is based off a game of the same name. It's not really "scary", but lord is it messed up and creepy.
