To all of my lovely male otakus~

So i've been looking through the relationship Advice thread and I keep seeing things like "the perfect girl" and "My ideal girl". Everytime I clicked on one it was just some dope whinning and complaining about finding this "ideal" mate that they DESPERATELY need and how they can't find one wahh wahh wah! I was also surprised when I clicked on a thread stating that they were disapointed because they wanted a type of girl that was as modest and homey girl like the ones in Japan and couldn't seem to find one on this website. NEWSFLASH: There is no perfect girl!!! Girls have flaws, she either has some of the qualities you're looking for or she has none. Take it or leave it. If you're sitting here expecting some obediant loyal japanese housewife then you best go build a time machine... Stop complaining, set lower standards and be glad that a girl is willing to talk to you. Bitching and complaing isn't going to make het fall out of thr fricken sky!

Well said. Especially the part about everyone having flaws. You're always going to find something you don't like about someone. I think when you meet someone it's about accepting all of them, not just the good parts. You've gotta take the good and the bad.

well i doubt making a thread about the perfect girl will help. Considering if that person likes "shy" type girls, odds are if she's shy, she will just read the thread and be on her way to continue her shy life. Sometimes people will learn from there experiences You can't have complete control over your life. There are some things you just have to accept. There is no such creature as a perfect human. In response to that, a lot of guys are listing some traits they find attractive. Thats it. I don't suspect or expect anyone to meet all of my criteria, just enough of the ones important to me.

That may be the case but there are people on this site that have these unrealistic fantasies.They get cocky and upset when people do not meet their expectations.

Sure they do. Those people I can understand your frustration. Just don't put all of us guys in who made an 'ideal partner' thread. Its just to put what we may want out of a partner. Some guys are more realistic than others.

I'll admit, I might lay in bed late at night every so often picturing my dream girl. But in no way am I holding out waiting for her. Partly because she doesn't physically exist, and partly because she is just that, my dream girl. The simple fact that it's a dream means that it is something that can never actually be. I'm just looking for someone who makes me happy, and that I find attractive.

A 'Dream Girl" may exist in the world but the chances of meeting her are slim. Over 6 billion people are in the world, and the sheer combinations of genetics, personality, intelligence and status approach infinity. We do the best we can and find the person who makes us happy the most. Whom that person is, I do not know.
