I literally don't give a damn about race whatsoever. White, brown, black, asian, hispanic, etc; if I like someone, then I literally don't care what their race is because all races are beautiful in their own unique ways. I think it's fine if you only date a single race or something like that as well if purely based on what you're attracted to; as long as you're not racist to others or hell, the complete opposite, fetishising the race you like then I don't see any issue.

Neither American nor Japanese women are a monolith. You just got yellow fever, OP. Having a preference is fine (I guess?) but saying you'd rather be alone your entire life than date within your culture is... kinda cringe.

You know I'm ethnic. Had my run ins with the race stuff. Knew one girl who was really interested in Islam and stereotypical depictions of Islamic and Persian men. I told her I don't practice and also her stereotypes would disappoint her. She kept pursuing but I showed off my weeb side and she lost interest. Another girl just liked my tan skin. No big deal there. I think the real issue is when you hold people from certain cultures or backgrounds to unrealistic standards.
