Ah, so just a semi-pricy fish one eats to say they did? Good thing is, you have to be highly trained to cut it up so you don't kill a person. So, there's that.lol

I learned that if you think you might spontaneously grab fugu and eat it just for the experience, to not go ham on the pickled ginger or you will spend an hour wondering if it was the ginger or fugu making your lips and tongue tingle.

Indeed. It was so good. The fugu wasn't bad either. Not over powering. Like just a light fish. Subtle texture. Not chewy. It looks like squid at first but it's so much more delicate.
