Japanese TV

I know everybody here is into anime, would be something strange if someone was here and wasn't. However I was wondering if anybody was into other forms of Japanese television. I personally find Gaki no Tsukai the single funniest show that has ever existed. Their Batsu specials are basically no laughing or else you get beat on butt with a stick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QS7SzBA03g8

The 24 hour tag one? That was one of the most amazing specials of anything ever. Hard to think that was 19 years ago. The Treasure Hunters special was probably the best one since the Detectives special.

I've watched some J-Dramas before. Occasionally I will watch that "Midnight Diner" on Netflix.

when i was younger we had a channel that had these japanese game shows on it including dubbed ninja warrior, which was really fun to watch (til america killed it) the others i dont remember very well, like one was like this mini indoor obstacle course that looked super dangerous? like they were on a unicycle at one point goin down this small thin wall with 0 protection (that one was subbed i think, if there was a translation at all cause i remember being super confused xD) either way their game shows (least the older ones) are really interesting i tried watching that one J drama about a woman going back to highschool but dropped it pretty fast

I've watched VS Arashi and Itadaki High Jump. Both variety shows with jpop groups. VS Arashi is so good even if you're not too aware of Jpop groups.
