I just cut out the middle man and don't stick it in anything I don't want to have a baby with.

@dyadka_yar Why though? Why should a life be made demonstrably worse if there is an option to prevent it? I absolutely reject that there is a reasonable expectation you will get pregnant from recreational sex. It has the same likelihood of getting into a car accident, 2%, but we do not expect to get into one when we get in our car, we only have the destination in mind. And I'm not talking about those niche cases where its a cancer patient or a rape case, because almost everyone will agree on that so there's no point in arguing for it :P

I think this assertion that two people that engage in casual sex should expect that they may produce a baby is going on the assumption that humans are rational actors, which is absolutely, provably, untrue. Humans are not rational, we don't have that much foresight toward our actions, you can just look at the obesity epidemic and climate change to show this. We shouldn't be punished for how our species naturally is if there is a safe, ethical way to prevent it.

@dyadka_yar I never really understood how some people could think that you don't consent to the risk of having a kid if you already know that sex is pregnancy happens. I understand how being horny can make people irrational but the fact of the matter is that if you know sex can lead to pregnancy and you still have sex anyway then you are consenting to the risks. Making a a risky decision does not mean that you no longer made a decision. The fact of the matter is that if someone has sex and they knew beforehand that sex can lead to children then you are consenting to the risk.

I mean there are businesses that have you sign forms that show you are consenting to doing something knowing that there is a risk of harm and injury or even death. It's silly to say that people can't consent to the risk of getting someone pregnant or becoming pregnant.

@dyadka_yar also, id like you to ponder this hypothetical someone thought of. i was stumped by it until i saw someone give "the right answer" to it, so i wonder what your answer will be So a man washes up on a deserted island. He is starving and dehydrate, and meets a man who was in a similar situation, but now has all of the coconuts on the island. The starving man asks him for one, and the coconut man replies "Sure, if you suck my dick for it." Is this ethical?

@momoichi It has been known for a long time with the simple phrase, "You reap what you sow." If you are obese that is because you make bad decisions. Are there medical conditions that cause people to be obese? Yes, but not at the rates we are seeing on the charts. I was once 300 lbs of fat because of my bad decisions, it can be undone and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. I don't blame people for their mistakes, but I do ask that they pay for them. And yes I took that quote from John Hammond in Jurassic Park. As far as the coconuts, the answer is technically yes. He went through the effort of gathering the coconuts, put them in a safe place and was not accounting for you being there. However there are ways around sucking the dick. Deserted island means clams and snails as food and you can extract fresh water by grinding down the coconut tree roots. But for suggesting such a thing, I'd also smash his head on a rock.
