Yeah i have ran into catfish lucky for me they were exposed before things got serious. If they cant take a pic with a sign saying something on it or vid call then stay away

i have met a catfish once before, we talked and even met offline... turns out that she was actually a dogfish :/

I've come across a couple on here. Some were obvious, some not as much. Not too long ago a catfish became infatuated with me on another site. I had no interest in them romantically but we became friends of a sort. Didn't take long to realize he was in fact a he, but I kept in contact with him all the same. I guess part of me felt sorry for him or thought that he wasn't really that bad of a person. He was just a lonely guy with no friends who found the only way to get people to talk to him was pretending to be a girl. Sounds bad but I can't say I blame him with the way our culture is these days. He did eventually come clean about it, but not before his cat fishing caused a lot of drama in our community. We kinda drifted apart a while latter and last I heard he's on suicide watch.
