while i agree with your sentiment and im on your side, that other genders should be respected, if you dont joke about it (not making fun of others ofcourse) it will never be common ground

Who's cares? Neither side is ever going to budge so this just a pointless debate like the other forums. I'll leave with one word "empathy".

People can't be diagnosed with gender dysphoria because gender dysphoria is not a mental illness or disease. People should not have to prove their gender identity. People should not need permission to simply be. The reason why using "they," is important is because it's safe to do so if that person's gender is ambiguous. Even if it is unconventional to refer to an individual as "they."

And yes you should repect people's decision to use recreational drugs. You should probably call the authorities if that recreational drug use is affecting live(s) negatively.
