What temperature are you setting your ac to in summer?

gabriel_true
How any of you are able to survive with the AC at 60° is a mystery. Also must not be the ones paying the electric bill... I have had 1 roommate and a girlfriend that would not budge from 68° however I find 72° to be perfectly fine. 74° is the highest I will tolerate, but I truly wish not to drop below 70° if possible. Both for my wallet and personal comfort.

man, I used to think I couldn't tolerate 75 degrees during the day but then I saw those 360 dollar monthly electricity fees coming in. Then I figure, free sauna!

As I said before I believe something might be wrong with your unit's electrical. Really shouldn't be pulling that much power unless something else is plugged in thats running up your cost.

I think it's just my area. I know somebody else who had to pay friggin 600 bucks. Insane prices over here.

I know in Texas there are no regulations for electric companies and one man had to pay several thousand dollars for one month.

A/c? You mean the small fan that stays on low? Wet your head and sit in front of it if you're feeling hot. If it gets too bad take your shirt off, ez

60-65 during the day & anywhere between 60-68 at night.

Holy crap! I can only imagine my electric bill if I did 60... Also, I could be wrong, but cant that damage the AC? Certainly gonna make it work overtime.lol I do know that it'll freeze up if the temp outside is in the 60's.

Even though he said he's spoken with people who have comparable bills, I still think we have wiring issues. Just sayin.
