How much does one past matter?

Would you date someone who's been to prison or charged with a crime? What's acceptable or not? I seek to get a glimpse of what my future may hold.

Been to prison? I'm curious about your story, now. Especially since prison is a bit different than jail. Honestly, it depends on what the crime was and how they've improved since. Doing something wrong does not automatically make someone some sort of "untouchable". Now, if you were charged with any crime against kids, murder, rape, SA or the like, I'd have to say a big nope. But, I've got kids and sex crimes to me are particularly personal and heinous.

3 year bid for manslaughter (which btw is terrible way of saying accidental death. They really should changed that title)

Was it drunk driving or a work hazard related death? Or was it the old Dick Cheney, "I thought he was a deer!"

Anyways only forgiveness you need is from God, humble yourself before the Lord, make your request, put in the work/effort and continuesly thank God after he has fixed it
