Religious rants

"Jesus stoned the woman himself and said "i am also a sinner"" riiiiight, kinda brings me back to my point earlier in this thread, where Christians were targeted by countries like these. But people were like "ofc its bound to happen, those countries are dictatorships and blah blah blah"

The Chinese government's persecution of Christians has only led to even more church growth, causing the Communist Party to now target the Bible itself, with what it calls an "update" with "socialist values," and removing passages that don't reflect communist beliefs. Bibles for children is totally forbidden. And all the Bible apps and Bible-related apps were forcefully removed from every e-commerce app store. The issue for the Chinese Communist Party is control. It is always about control, And they see the Gospel, they see the Christian message as something that would take control away from the Communist Party. And so this new socialist translation of the Bible is just another step for the Chinese Communist Party as they try to control the church and really co-opt Christianity as a means of controlling the people and helping them serve the party's interests.

Yeah they are distributing bibles to Christians in china now. But these ones are edited to make Jesus appear as a murderer and purposely change things in a way to make Christianity seem bad. Because there has been a rise in Christianity in china. But this is a chain reaction, i cant remember if the video i posted beforr that spoke about people losing faith in the word of God which then leads to a loss in interest in religion but this plays into that. Its interesting how these items connect to each other.

The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist, but it recognizes five religions: Buddhism, Catholicism, Daoism, Islam, and Protestantism. Authorities tightly monitor registered and unregistered groups. There are a growing number of religious believers, including those who practice folk religions and more than a dozen other banned faiths. China has one of the largest populations of religious prisoners, and some groups, including Uyghur Muslims, face high levels of persecution. In Article 36 of the Chinese constitution says that citizens “enjoy freedom of religious belief.” It bans discrimination based on religion and forbids state organs, public organizations, or individuals from compelling citizens to believe in or not believe in any particular faith. Human Rights Watch’s China director, Sophie Richardson, says that while religious belief in China is protected by the constitution, the measures “do not guarantee [PDF] the right to practice or worship.” Religious practices are limited to “normal religious activities,” though “normal” is left undefined and can be broadly interpreted. The state recognizes five religions: Buddhism, Catholicism, Daoism, Islam, and Protestantism. The practice of any other faith is formally prohibited, although often tolerated, especially in the case of traditional Chinese beliefs. Religious organizations must register with one of five state-sanctioned patriotic religious associations, which are supervised by the State Administration for Religious Affairs (SARA). The research and advocacy group Freedom House estimated in 2017 that there are more than 350 million religious believers in China, primarily made up of Chinese Buddhists, followed by Protestants, Muslims, Falun Gong practitioners, Catholics, and Tibetan Buddhists. Many believers do not follow organized religion and are said to practice traditional folk religion. These practitioners, along with members of underground house churches and banned religious groups, account for many of the country’s unregistered believers.

The basic church design is based on the Roman basilica. I find that ironic. https://study.com/cimages/multimages/16/ecb931ec-8c7e-435f-bbe2-a3911cfd1290_4_5005_c3652358259757131258.jpeg

I thought I would mention I had something interesting occur at work. A young man that recently started working for the company happened to stop what he was doing to tell me specifically, "I felt compelled to tell you that God blesses you." It threw me off at first because I don't talk religion that often especially when I am on the job. We're not a religious company either by any means, though with a growing number of Muslim employees we do accommodate special prayer rooms for those worshipers. If only to prevent the rest of us tripping over them when they're face down on the floor. That was an issue for a time unfortunately. Awkward, but I made sure to look out for them and respect their space when it happened. All that said. The young man smiled and hurried on his way. Nothing more was ever said between us. Many will say it was coincidence, however I felt there was meaning behind that gesture. I do in fact feel perhaps something of God's influence in my life especially with the various trials I have endured recently.

God is always with you, this might be him trying to let you know this. Things like this with that young man happen very often in our lives. We may give up, we may stop praying, we may sto believing. But God doesnt stop. He walks with us every step of the way. This could be your sign that God isnt done with you and he is still trying to reach out. Even though you may or may not have God in your life there is always room for improvement and a stronger relationship. One thing i admire about the muslim people is their dedication, while i dont necessarily believe in their God or their religion. To dedicate 5 times a day to prayer, its truly amazing. It should be something to note.

Also i finally hit numbers in my kjv bible, i have made it my goal to read every day at least 2 pages regardless of how busy my days are. You are never too busy for God. I wanna hit the mid point of leviticus this weekend in my ESV, i only have 2 pages left in exodus from last weekend.

France is on another continent and I hate France (the nation, not necessarily its people) to my guts. It's one of the countries I hate the most, alongside Turkey. The same applies to Isreal, though not to the same extent as fr*nce and t*rkey. Zionist schizo-progressive country that is cocksucked by my fellow Conservatives nonstop because of a stupid puritan idea that Christianity should be like Joodaism.
