I would much prefer the boring and tidy type. I'm much more of a lone wolf type so I don't mind keeping to myself and occasionally trade quips here and there.

As someone who left behind everything to meet with online friends and was utterly backstabbed afterwards. Not worth it bro, walk away on your own, save yourself the pain.

I used to be the more balanced type, then after dealing with some grief these past two years of loosing like 3 out of 4 of the people I grew up with (Two in 2021), I've kinda just entered survival mode, and don't know how to coax myself out of it. And now you know why I gave up on dating. No one deserves that, and I am too apathetic to kick the habits I've formed. Welcome back, Neet. https://c.tenor.com/eeyZsVwZScsAAAAd/anime-wave.gif

@swadian I can understand, as meeting online friends IRL is sort of a mixed bag overall. There are plenty of trash people out there, but I have met many great people too. Some of my closest friends, I initially met online. People in general are pretty complex. As much as there are shitty people out there, its good to keep a good perspective on things. The vast majority of people who do stupid or shitty things have legitimate reasons for doing what they do (at least in their mind). It does have to be said, the ability to determine when to call it quits is a very valuable life skill. Bad relationships (friends, acquaintances, even lovers) with little to no chance of improvement really are toxic and should be ended for sure.
